3 Ingredient Grout And Tiles Cleaner! Make Your Grout Look Like New! And Tips On How To Keep It Spotless!
Nobody wants to clean the bathroom; it can turn into a toxic nightmare. And we’re not referring to the dirty mess, but the toxic cleaners we use. Most of the usual cleaners we use have bleach and a number of other chemicals in them. Cleaning with them makes you want to use a gas mask while you do it to protect yourself from the toxic vapors. But in case you didn’t know, this will make your life easier and your cleaning a less toxic task. We have a natural recipe which will cost you just a few buck and will clean and whiten your grout and tiles without releasing toxic materials into your face.
You just need 3 ingredients:
- Half a cup baking soda
- One tsp. liquid dish soap
- A quarter cup hydrogen peroxide
Mix the baking soda, dish soap and hydrogen in a small squeeze top bottle. Baking soda will scrub all the stains and water accumulation in between the tiles and the hydrogen peroxide will whiten and clean them naturally.
Apply the cleaning mix on the grout and tiles which need a deep clean and leave it on for 5-10 minutes. This will dissolve all the dirt and water build up and it will make it easier for you to scrub it away. Or if you don’t have very hard stains just apply the mix on a soft wet sponge you use to clean the tiles and bathroom.
Scrub the areas and rinse with water. If you want a deeper clean repeat the process once more where there is still some dirt or hard water residue.
Once you remove all the stains and your grout and tiles look spotless you might want to keep it looking good. If you want to save yourself from the trouble of scrubbing again there is something you can do. Mix a solution of water and vinegar 1:1 and pour it in a spray bottle next to the shower. Make sure you label it so that you don’t get confused. After you take a shower spray it down with this solution. You don’t have to do it every day, 2-3 times a week will make a lot of difference. You’ll see for yourself when you clean it next time.
